Misr Hotels company has been established as an Egytian joint stock co. under the decree of the Prime Minster issued on 11/5/1955 .. and published in the Egyptian newspaper " Al-wakaaee Al-masreya " issue no. 48 in 20/6/1955 , in accordance with the companies law no.26 for the year 54 concerned with the organization of joint stock companies. |

In 1971, Misr Hotels Co. had fallen under the subordination of the Egyptian Organization for Tourism & Hotels, to be one of the public sector compaies subject to the provision of the law no. 60 for the year 1971. |

In 1983, the company was subject to the provision of law no. 97 for the year 1983 and its executive regulations of the public sector companies & organizations. |

In 1991, the company was subject to the provision of the Law of Public Enterprise Sector no.203 for the year 1991 and its executive regulations , in which replaces the law no. 97 for the year 1983 of the public sector companies & organizations. |
